Last week was gross! The dew point was above 70*F (in the tropical range) for the majority of the week. It felt like running through a tropical jungle (not that I know what that is like, but I have a REALLY good imagination)! The good thing about this week?!?! I pushed myself out of my comfort zone many times and performed better than I expected for the majority of this week’s workouts despite the gross, tropical conditions outside! When I push myself out of my comfort zone, I always learn and grow…SO REWARDING!!
Swim: 8775 yards

Today was a soggy, gross run, but I surprised myself and ran faster than it felt!!

Attitude of Gratitude:

How was your week? What were you grateful for last week?! How do you feel when you push yourself out of your comfort zone?!
Awesome work! Yessss, push yourself in these awful tropical conditions so on race day when it happens you can shrug and go “Yeah, I got this!”
Thanks girlie!! Right back at ya!!way to crush your goal yesterday!! I’m so proud of you!! I knew you could do it!! 🙌🏻❤️
That soggy run photo, holy cats, Kecia… nice job, there tiger.
Thanks Jim!! So many soggy runs last week…I looked like I just got done swimming and squished sweat out of my shoes on the pavement with every run last week. So gross, but it does make me stronger! 😉
I always had trouble breathing in soggy conditions back when I was running–great job on getting it done!! Hopefully the weather is a bit more favourable for you this week 🙂
Thanks Amy!! It is starting off with less humidity, but I don’t think it is supposed to stay this way. It definitely makes the cooler weather running feel so much better!! 😉
You are getting there!! Doing awesome!! Keep pushing!! You are going to kill Ohio!! 🙂
Thanks Leslie!! One week…eeekkk!!
