Quote of the Week:
“The best gifts in the world are not in the material objects one can buy from the store, but in the memories we make with the people we love!” ~Amanda Boyarshinov
It’s so great that you guys are taking the time to do some sightseeing and eating some fun foods as well as training…it’s all about balance, right?? 🙂
Absolutely Amy! Balance is key!
What a great trip to LP! You were able to do so much more than I was when I went to race. I hate I missed out on seeing some of the Olympic venues that you were able to see (other than the infamous Olympic Oval…my favorite). You were able to get in so many swims in Mirror Lake…just awesome! I would really like to go back one day to vacation. I thought it was such a beautiful place and I want to explore so much more!!
We absolutely LOVED it in Lake Placid! It is so beautiful, so much to do, and the Olympic venue…amazing! We are thinking of racing IMLP in 2019, so maybe you should think about going back then! 😉
